The GCIA DREAM Park hosts many local and nationally acclaimed activities, including many Horse breed shows including Paint horse, Quarter horse, Saddlebreds, Morgans, Warmbloods,equine sports shows including Reining, Mounted Games, Hunters, Jumpers, Rodeos, Clinics, Community Fun Days and many more. We also host Dog breed and Agility Shows and many community service and other fun events that are all open to the public. The GCIA DREAM Park, which opened in June of 2008, was built as part of a land preservation project directed by the Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders. The park which is open year round offers the opportunity to participate, enjoy and support the local equine community and the finest world class equestrians as well as a place for children and adults to develop equestrian dreams.
The equestrian park is located at 400 Route 130 South, Logan Township, NJ 08085. The Park is on an estimated 277 acres located along the Delaware River and Raccoon Creek. With shopping and hotels located only two miles from the park, the DREAM Park is the perfect location for our county and its diverse equestrian community.
The facility features a 150’ x 300’ temperature controlled indoor arena with a Bose equipped sound system, bleacher seating for 600 spectators, and a separate area for auctions, exhibits, or off season instructional clinics. The building has restrooms, and a concession area. The facility also has two show barns to accommodate 238 horses, a Clear Span indoor arena , 144’ x 120’ w/ state of the art fans & lighting, five outdoor rings, one which has state-of-the-art lighting for night events, and designated parking for trailers and RV’s with electric, water hook up, and a RV support facility with bathrooms and showers.
The GCIA DREAM Park has resident stabling which can accommodate 70 horses, with private grass turn outs, and three private warm up and exercise rings. The park offers programs including riding lessons, horse training, summer camp, and therapeutic riding.
Phase II of the DREAM Park, which is already underway, features over 200 acres of trails for trail riding , cross country courses and a dog park. The trails will take riders along the river and creek for some of the most scenic and breathtaking views.
The GCIA Dream Parks vision includes creating a positive economic impact on the local economy by expanding the impact of the equine industry to the area.
The park is owned and operated by the Gloucester County Improvement Authority.
